Russian Meteor
A meteor slammed into Russia last week. Within the week, Stefan Geens, used basic trig to plot a flight path for the meteor..
He posted a Google Earth KMZ file that shows his plot. I've taken that KMZ file and added the Korkino cement factory data as well as an overlay of a satellite photo published by the Baltimore Sun
I used the boundary printed on the satellite photo but have adjusted it southward while maintaining its rotation to fit the work Stefan has done. If the satellite company that provided the photo to the Sun was precise in placing the boundary, the meteor wouldn't have passed over Korkino as several videos show it did. My revision of his KMZ file is here.
Here's a static image taken from the KMZ file.
